KILICAFE is the first firm in Tanzania to have a direct export license, under the newly liberalized selling system in Tanzania . The system allows producers to directly export after fulfilling certain criteria set by Tanzania Coffee Board. KILICAFE is the first such Producer firm in Tanzania to begin direct export to foreign companies

There are two systems to market coffee in Tanzania ; National Auction and Direct Export system. KILICAFE sales to both markets; recording 30% and 70% at the national coffee auction respectively.

Purchasing KILICAFE coffee has a direct contribution to rural development; for instance enabling children access education and Women getting a sustainable economic stability and improving rural livelihood.
